I am so thrilled that I just happened to stumble upon this amazing author this year. Her first novel was an impulse buy and the second and third books were preordered the moment I'd finished it. This book, the third in the series, did not let me down. It did take a bit of a different turn. Jamie and Linnet had a past and this novel was all about them FINALLY having their Happily Even After. It was a struggle, but it was well-deserved. They are great characters and I loved them both to pieces. It was great seeing previous heroes and heroines back in the story and I love knowing that they're still happy.

This book also had a bit of an almost paranormal theme to it, just ever-so-slightly. Devil-worshippers and witches were featured heavily, particularly in the second half of the book. To be honest, it felt a little forced, but I suppose it is probably somewhat historically accurate.

Margaret Mallory continues to stay on my Automatic Buy list. She is fabulous and everything she writes is fabulously entertaining.

As with the first two in this trilogy, Ms. Mallory's writing is wonderful, and her story enthralling. Jaimie, the hero, is a character readers have watched grow from a child in the first book, to a teenager in the second and now as a dashing adult to love and adore. Because of this, we are so invested in his happiness that when he chooses a woman who is so bent of revenge for her family that she uses and abuses everyone in her way, including him, we are personally offended and enraged. He is like a son to us! How dare the author saddle such a wonderful man with someone so unworthy of him! It made it very hard to cheer when he finally catches her at the end.
Margaret Mallory's books have always been 5 stars to me. Knight of Passion is great and I can't wait for the next addition of All the King's Men to come out. Anyone know when that will be?
Loved, loved, loved All the King 's Men by Margaret Mallory. She never disappoints! Will continue to read all that she writes. One question though--about half way through the book she makes reference to "like watching a tennis match", I don't believe tennis was around in the 1400's??
I liked your stories; however I find that all have pretty much the same narration. A nice knights and a confusing girl fighting until they finally realize that what they want is each other, on the other hand is very romantic and I really enjoyed it.
I have read all Ms. Mallorys books. I am 71 years old and when I read From desk of Margaret Mallory she mentioned the teenagers needed a story.Please don't wait too long! I'm not getting any younger. But anyway -- I do love your books!!!
I WANT EVERY BOOK THIS WOMAN HAS EVER WRITTEN! I am an avid romance ready, but she truly is spectacular. Just enough intrigue, just enough sex, just enough romance, and just enough of a twist to make it really relaxing and enjoyable. <3
