Dr Seuss style illustrations are quite good and definitely reinforce the fact this is a parody piece on popular children's picture book fiction. It does give quite good advice for the newly infected, it lacks a little bit at being a masterpiece story in its own right but still it's a lot of fun. My favourite zombie picture book parody would be That's Not Your Mommy Anymore: A Zombie Tale by Matt Mogk but this one is worthwhile getting to. Also if you wonder if you should keep your infected pet Zombie Cat: The Tale of a Decomposing Kitty by Isabel Atherton is a great read too. It's Okay to be a Zombie will definitely be read more than once. I came across this as a Kindle book and am not sure if you can get it as a hardcopy. These sorts of books do work better in hardcopy format as you can really appreciate it as being a parody with a physical picture book. I hope this author does more of these types of parody fiction in the future.

Funny and short. This short little book made me chuckle a little bit. With as popular as the zombie craze is right now this was a neat little short (real short story). Written like a children's book I let my 10yo read it and he found it funny as well. Love the graphics with the bright colors.
It was a good book it was cute and funny I recommend it for anyone that like zombies and comedy

I loved every oozing instance of this book. It is funny and weird, but in all the right proportions. I wished I could snag a hard copy for self defense in our zombie ridden future. Great job, guys!

I kind of miss reading other stories. We've read this for bedtime for 3 nights. Sometimes my 7-year-old wants me to read it twice. Sometimes he wants to reread just his favorite part over and over. I suspect he will have it memorized soon.
I really wanted to like this. The concept sounded great. The idea had such potential. Delivery was mediocre. There was no real story. The art was disappointing. It seems like something that was thrown together in a hurry with very little thought. I was really hoping for a truly funny book. This was just dull.
